Letterpress
This shift to the new discipline of Letterpress from being a visual artist working in etching and monoprinting has been both challenging and exhilarating, resulting in prints with movement and an echoing of typeface more in tune with my personal ‘Visual Vocabulary’. Beginning with a traditional letterpress/movable type apprenticeship I was immediately struck by how static the letters were-always in their perfect place, set tight in the chase.
